Before immigrating to the United States, Hui-Hsin Liu practiced traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture at various clinics in Asia. During that time, she felt her capacity to care for patients was limited, and she decided she wanted to open her own practice where she was in charge of how many patients she saw and how much time they were given. Last year, Ms. Liu became a licensed acupuncturist in New York and New Jersey, and joined the team at Catskill Valley Chiropractic: A Center For Wellness.
In addition to practicing acupuncture, Ms. Liu also makes custom herbal medicines tailored to her patients’ needs. In the future, Ms. Liu hopes to continue to spread the world about the benefits of traditional Chinese medicine. She is especially grateful for her teacher Nan Lu, at Traditional Chinese Medicine World Foundation.
