It’s Winning Women Wednesday! This month we are proud to highlight Lisa Tenneson, owner of Four Star Realty Group, Inc.
Lisa’s dream of working in Real Estate began with her love for homes, design, and connecting with people. Just two weeks after graduating high school, she went to Real Estate school and loved it. Life took her in a different direction at first though, with a corporate job, but even then she was passionate about running her own business. She always had a side businesses, including at one point a traveling petting zoo.
Traveling back and forth between New Jersey and New York, Lisa decided to get her NY Real Estate License and started building her Real Estate clientele. This was the start of her path to owning Four Star Realty Group. Lisa’s love for her community drives her to serve a large area in NY, and she’s currently expanding her entrepreneurial spirit by opening a soda shop, Forget Me Not Pop Shop, next to her office. Despite the challenges Lisa faced during Hurricane Irene when both her home and office were destroyed by the flooding, her resilience and compassion have shaped her into successful women she is today. When she sees a need in the community, she seeks to fill it – she hopes her soda shop will become a fun place for kids to hang out, and enjoys mentoring new realtors.
In her spare time, Lisa also enjoys hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing with her spouse. Lisa loves to see people grow and be successful in her community and loves that the Middleburgh Branch Rotary Club in Schoharie County does so much for the community and people.
KathodeRay applauds Lisa Tenneson for being so positive and upbeat and her resilience she has for her community and the people in her community.
