As a NYS WBE, we love to celebrate women who are natural leaders – one win at a time! That’s why we’re proud to highlight Nicole Bliss, Vice President and Human Resource Officer at National Bank of Coxsackie. As a leader of a local, community bank celebrating its 170th year, Nicole instills the highest levels of customer service throughout the organization, making that a living example of the NBOC brand. Her workdays run the gamut of HR responsibilities from conducting interviews to visiting branches, to coaching the professional development of the entire staff.
In addition, Nicole oversees the bank’s strategic plan and develops campaigns that connect customers and staff with the NBOC’s financial services and products.
Community plays a big role in Nicole’s life. She has served as VP of the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Columbia and Greene Counties, as well as on the Steering Community for the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk CBA. Currently the Chairwoman of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce BOD, she also serves as Secretary for the Coxsackie-Athens Little League BOD. If all this isn’t enough, Nicole has been a Field Hockey Coach for Coxsackie-Athens High School for the past 7 years!
When asked about a program or organization she would like to give a shout-out to, Nicole responded: “The more I thought about it the more I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to KathodeRay Media – A woman owned businesses taking the time and effort to highlight other women who are making it happen in their careers and community. I think that’s such an important thing to continue to focus on presently!”
We congratulate Nicole as she continues to bring her experience, expertise and dedication to all she does!
